Student Publication

The institution supports the establishment and implementation of student publication as provided for in RA 7079, otherwise known as, Campus Journalism Act of 1991, and other media forms.

 

Bona fide students and alumni of Medina College are qualified for the membership of the Student Publication Organization. The organization shall have a faculty adviser and operate on a self-management framework.

Student Publication

1. School Paper

The school paper is an annual publication dedicated to news and activities within the institution during the previous academic year. Members of the school publication organization have the absolute right and full responsibility, and are tasked to make or write the content, revise, proofread and publish the school paper. However, the institution shall fund the printing and reproduction of the published school paper.

 

Each student has the right to obtain a copy of the school paper for him/herself.

 

2. Yearbook

A yearbook is an annual publication of Medina College for its graduates. Members of the school publication organization have the absolute right and full responsibility, and are tasked to make or write the content, revise, proofread and publish the yearbook. However, the institution shall fund the printing and reproduction of the published yearbook.

Each graduate has a right to obtain a copy of the yearbook for him/herself.

 

3. Other School Publication

Student publications, including electronic and digital formats, shall be charged with its rights, responsibilities, funding, etc., absolutely to the student publication organization.
